Brainwashing -- Accusation and Response

The accusation of brainwashing and mind control against the Heralds of the Gospel is contradicted by the 1,824 individual interviews conducted during the Apostolic Visitation (2017-2018), in which the overwhelming majority of members expressed satisfaction with their life in the institution. The civil inquiry on "indoctrination and manipulation" (14.0568.0000487/2018) was dismissed, with the decision confirmed by the STJ. The case on "false imprisonment and forced labor" (MPSP 37.0739.0011829/2021) was likewise dismissed.
