Monsignor Joao Scognamiglio Cla Dias

Monsignor Joao Scognamiglio Cla Dias was the founder of the Heralds of the Gospel, an institution recognized as an international association of the faithful of pontifical right in 1999. Central target of accusations in the documentary "Slaves of Faith", all accusations against him were investigated and dismissed by the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith and civil courts. Monsignor Joao Cla suffered an incapacitating stroke on 06/02/2010, resigned from the institution's leadership on 06/02/2017, and passed away in November 2024.
