Prosecutors and Investigations -- Accusation and Response

Multiple Public Prosecutors' offices across Brazil (SP, RJ, PR, MG) conducted investigations into the Heralds of the Gospel. The comprehensive survey by Dr. Hugo Cysneiros (CNBB legal advisor, November 2024) documented 28 lawsuits, all of which were dismissed or resolved favorably for the Heralds. The breadth of investigations -- spanning mistreatment, forced labor, racism, sexual abuse, financial irregularities -- and the uniform result of no convictions demonstrates the consistency of the defense and the fragility of the accusations.
